Short Film – Directed by Chris Paey

Stuck is a character-driven short film exploring the tension and reconciliation within a struggling music band. Set across two distinct locations, the film visually mirrors the emotional journey of the characters as they confront each other’s toxicity, clash, and ultimately reconnect. As gaffer, I helped shape the film’s visual identity through a contrasty lighting design that emphasized the shifting moods between the two spaces, building tension in one and fostering intimacy in the other. Working closely with the director and DP, we used light to reflect the emotional push and pull at the core of the story.
