Bio
Diyach Thebo is a filmmaker and post-production specialist originally from Sindh, Pakistan. His journey began with a passion for music, as he discovered that rhythm and mood can be expressed powerfully through images, just as they are through sound. Over more than a decade, he has advanced from a self-taught editor to a certified colorist and finishing editor, earning a reputation for technical precision and instinctive visual storytelling. Whether calibrating color in DaVinci Resolve, shaping dialogue in Fairlight, or guiding emerging editors, he approaches every frame as an opportunity to engage and move an audience.
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Loyola Marymount University, Diyach has taught Avid Media Composer and DaVinci Resolve to both graduate and undergraduate cohorts, supporting 200 + students across five semesters in their intermediate and advanced film productions and corresponding post-production workflows.
Now based in Los Angeles and open to new opportunities with individuals and organizations alike, Diyach divides his time between lecturing at LMU and collaborating with creative teams worldwide. Colleagues value his calm problem-solving under pressure and his knack for translating production challenges into efficient post-production pipelines. Grounded, curious, and continually iterative, he views every project, regardless of scale, as a chance to refine his craft, foster collaboration, and honor the stories that unite us.
