Bio

Diyach Thebo is a filmmaker, director, and post-production artist based in Los Angeles, originally from Sindh, Pakistan. With over a decade of experience, he has led and contributed to a wide range of projects across commercial, corporate, documentary, and narrative forms. His portfolio includes work for BuzzFeed Studios, Reese’s Book Club, the British High Commission, ISPR, TruKKer, DestinationsPK Magazine, Uber, OLX, Daewoo, and Sapphire. From feature-length films to fast-paced branded campaigns, Diyach brings a sharp visual instinct and deep technical fluency across formats.

As a director, he strives to create immersive, emotionally charged work that takes the viewer somewhere unexpected, anchored in rhythm, mood, and cultural authenticity. With a foundation in editing and color, he understands how a story is built moment by moment, both on set and in post. He previously served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Loyola Marymount University, where he taught Avid Media Composer, DaVinci Resolve, and film production to over 200 undergraduate and graduate students, helping them navigate intermediate and advanced productions with confidence.

Today, Diyach collaborates with creative teams around the world on a diverse slate of projects, serving as director, colorist, editor, assistant editor, and VFX artist. He is known for his problem-solving under pressure, openness to new tools and workflows, and a tireless commitment to refining his craft. Whether working with emerging filmmakers or established clients, he approaches each project as a space for thoughtful collaboration and impactful storytelling.
